The Dark Knight Rises

Today I thought I'd talk about another film. Batman: The Dark Knight Rises is the last of the latest Batman trilogy and wow, what a way to finish. Set 8 years after The Dark Knight (also a superb film) there is a new evil ready to try and destroy Gotham, Christopher Nolan, the director, who also brought us Inception has created the perfect way to close what some would have called a risky set of films to make considering the other quite appalling Batman films from the past. With the likes of Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine amongst the cast, these films could only ever be great. 

The villain - Bane has the most eery and ominous voice, there are yet more gadgets to gawp at, and the plot twists and turns to keep you guessing. If you haven't seen it then please do and you'll find that it actually stirs quite a few emotions even if your not a big fan of these Marvel/super hero movies, it is a true epic and for me in the top ten best films. 

If this trailer doesn't make you want to watch it, I lose hope in your taste of movies!
