Album of the month

This month I've chosen an album that took me by surprise but now have on repeat for hours, one particular song everybody has heard as it took the web and the charts by storm. This song was Macklemore's thrift shop, and having looked into his other songs I became interested in what his new album would offer... And boy did it offer something brilliant. His voice suits rap perfectly and the collaborations and choruses are pure complements to the vocals and fairly meaningful lyrics - not just the generic crap spouted by some with your "bitches and hoes" sort of rubbish. Some of my favourite songs are 'Can't hold us' featuring Ray Dalton, 'Ten thousand hours', and 'Wing$' which I simply can't stop listening to, so if you've heard thrift shop or are getting fed up with some of the more expected rap, then give Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis' album 'The Heist' a listen...
